Colorado Special Districts (including Cotton Ranch Metropolitan District) hold elections for the election of directors to serve on the District's Board in May of even numbered years. The District's next election will be held in May of 2022.

 

If you are interested in serving on the District's Board of Directors, you may submit a Self Nomination and Acceptance Form to Marchetti & Weaver starting on January 1, 2020.

 

In order to be eligible to run for a Board seat a person must be an "eligible elector" in the District which is defined as a registered voter of Colorado and either:

 

  1. A resident of the District for not less than 30 days, or

  2. The owner ( or spouse of the owner) of taxable real or personal property situated in the District, o

  3. A person obligated to pay taxes under a contract of purchase taxable property.

Election Information

Provides architectural control for the community of Cotton Ranch and is responsible for reviewing and approving all new construction, renovations, and exterior improvements.

Master HOA for the valley floor and upper bench providing common area maintenance to the community.

A quasi-municipal corporation that finances the infrastructure of the Cotton Ranch Development, primarily irrigation.

Sitting on the upper bench of Cotton Ranch, Sky Legend HOA is responsible for the maintenance of limited common elements. It also is responsible for some infrastructure not owned by the town of Gypsum.
